Overview / Job Responsibilities::
In this role, a typical day will include:
Assisting the participants’ program manager with day-to-day details associated with escorting, coordinating ground movement, and leading and communicating activities associated with various participant administrative aspects of running an academic program at NESA Center and at overseas locations.
- Facilitates and enhances communications between the participants and the greater NESA region communities regarding programs and handling of participants.
- Supports the Participants Program Manager functions and must coordinate all activities with the events program planner manager and registrar functions.
- Works with staff and faculty to plan, organize and host conferences/seminars at NESA Center, in region, and virtual as required.
Minimum Qualifications::
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Clearance Public Trust
- One year of proven experience as a participant’s program assistant with in the NESA region, any DoD agency or regional center, university, or think tank.
- Must have experience in planning and conducting outreach/engagement activities, and experience integrating functional support activities into events
- Proven track record of interpersonal skills to interact with senior personnel, diplomats and embassies is required; experience coordinating programs, conducting administrative briefings, and coordinating technical planning to support programs
- Proven effective verbal and written communication skills is required.
Desired Qualifications::
Ability to speak and write Arabic, French, or Russian is highly desired.
