RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft briefs for client deliverables, new business opportunities, fact sheets, press releases, and editorial content in both English and Russian;
Monitor international affairs issues and news in English and Russian;
Identify and compile lists of media contacts;
Research topics and issues and analyzing findings utilizing both English and Russian language-sources;
Edit and proofread client deliverables;
Assist in the development of client proposals;
Attend virtual events and provide concise, summaries and reports;
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
A recent graduate or; preferably with a graduate degree in law or in an international affairs-related field;
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and attentive to detail;
Applicants are expected to have excellent written and oral communication skills and experience successfully balancing multiple tasks;
Applicants should have demonstrated proficiency in using Russian language in an academic or work setting previously;
Experience living or working abroad preferred;
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
Former internships or work at consultancies, federal agencies, international organizations, the U.S. Congress, or in state and local government are welcome, but not required.
Willingness to register under the Foreign Agent Registration Act or Lobbying Disclosure Act is required.
This position is full-time, 40 hours per week typically between 9am and 6pm EST; however, occasionally flexible hours will be required for international client and office calls.
Candidates will eventually be based out of the Washington, DC office. All Project Assistants will engage in a wide variety of subjects related to international affairs, international business and geopolitics. Daily tasks will include media monitoring, research and general support for a various clientele.
