Job Description of Public Affairs Partner
The Public Affairs Partner works with the HSPs to engage with public and private stakeholders across the healthcare sector on topics relevant to our strategy. They support the team in enhancing and protecting our reputation and proactively drive health system change.
The Public Affairs Partner is responsible for:

Engages and collaborates with external stakeholders (industry counterparts, political stakeholders, local communities, trade organisations, media, health advocacy organizations) to understand socio-political opportunities and threats

Engages and collaborates with the global Roche global communications, public affairs and policy network network to understand Roche positioning, opportunities, innovative solutions and resources; translates the best innovative ideas into local strategy

Supports with research and briefs to ensure comprehensive network intelligence and relevant subject matter insights

Supports the development and implementation of local public affairs strategies

Monitoring local media, industry and government communications for socio-political landscape opportunities and threats

Handles media inquiries, creates media opportunities and works with public relations agencies to get favorable stories in the press
Qualifications
University degree
Experience and Ability
-
Experience in one or more public affairs disciplines (e.g. government relations, media communications, issue management, corporate and social responsibility)

Experience in public policy and government engagement within the pharmaceutical sector would be a plus

Strong analytical skills and business acumen

Strong system thinking capabilities

Outstanding written, oral and presentation skills

Self-starter with strong interpersonal and collaborative/influence skills

Strong organisational skills

Fluent in English and Ukrainian
