Python data engineer, Remote Ukraine

Project Description

Team is responsible for the building the group of services, which will inject data from upstream systems into Nordstrom Analytical Platform, transform and store. The system will provide access to already aggregated profile. The goal of the project is to speed up delivery of all data, enabling fresher data and quicker action.
This is an opportunity to work in a collaboration with a new company, which was acquired by client.

Responsibilities

– implement new features
– bugfix of existing features
– MR review for other team members
– Strive to engineering excellence in every aspect
– refactor existing legacy code

Skills

Must have

– Python
– SQL skills (Preferably MS SQL)
– Apache Spark
– expertise with CI/CD tools (preferably GitLab)
– AWS
– Docker

Nice to have

– Apache Airflow
– Apache Azkaban
– Kubernetes
– Django expertise is good, but is not required for project
