QA Engineer

Mirantis delivers open cloud infrastructure to top enterprises using Mirantis OpenStack, Mirantis Container Cloud and other solutions based on open source technologies including: Kubernetes, Prometheus, OpenStack and many others. These solutions empower enterprise customers to take advantage of open source innovation with no vendor lock-in.
Kharkiv office of Mirantis Inc. is looking for a QA Engineer to be part of our System Integration Testing team and participate in a full cycle of Mirantis products acceptance and system testing.

Primary job responsibilities

• Develop and maintain testing infrastructure and automated tests;

• Develop new and improve currently existing testing tooling;

• Automation of test results management (storing, archiving, searching, analysis);

• Debug and troubleshoot test results and work with component development teams to analyze them;

• Work with geographically distributed international teams on technical challenges and quality improvements

Qualifications

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX operating environments

• Understanding of advanced networking concepts

• Experience with virtualization software

• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and techniques (functional, non-functional, integration, system, HA & failover, etc.)

• Coding abilities using Python and shell scripting

• Experience with GIT

• Experience with REST API

• Good English communication skills (Intermediate), both written and verbal

• Motivated and dedicated to learning and collaboration

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly

The following are considered a plus

• DevOps experience is a big plus

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a big plus

• Experience with public cloud providers: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon AWS, OpenStack based

• Experience with CIS like Jenkins

• Experience with RHEL

• GoLang knowledge is a big plus
