Our client is a leading global Financial market data provider who runs a number of change programs to deliver high-quality platform that enable decision making based on Real-Time Market Data and Content Streams connected across the globe in a real-time, high frequency, and low-latency data management chain. The projects are technically challenging in a very engaging environment making the most of cutting edge technologies covering the domains of real-time, Big Data, Micro-Service Architecture and Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Team management.
• Be responsible for cross-functional test preparation and execution as well as end-to-end production readiness verification.
• Elaborate test strategy, overall test approach and test plans with the different functions and across different teams.
• Help the different units to identify testing needs (within functions, cross-functional).
• Create and maintain CI/CD infrastructure.
• Reviews resource allocation of the different units involved and assures timely availability of test environments.
• Coordinates all testing activities (IT integration testing, user acceptance testing).
• Tracks execution of testing against plan and supports triage of defects and issues.
• Manages issues related to data quality and availability (resources, environments) and escalates to program management if needed.
• Reports progress to program management and other stakeholders on a regular basis.

Skills

Must have

• Ability to implement automation solution from scratch with JS.
• Familiar with React.
• Experience of testing the database using SQL queries for data verification and validation.
• Proven experience of testing the database using SQL queries for data verification and validation.
• Web Services testing, UI testing via Selenium or similar
• Git or similar VCS
• Strong technical and data analysis experience is a core prerequisite of the role.
• As a QA Test Engineer, you will work closely with the Platform and Solutions development teams and will be responsible for:
– Successfully testing to the full project delivery lifecycle according to the defined methodologies
– QA testing the Capital Markets Platform and Solutions as per the defined requirements, assisting with the creation of documents in conjunction with other technical staff
– Completing the internal QA testing (and client facing user acceptance testing), applying appropriate change control practices to mitigate scope creep and overall project risk
– Assisting with refinement and improvement of QA processes with the purpose of improving control and efficiencies across the department
