Project Description
Description of the FPConsole project
Store business and operations teams want to tweak supply chain “network” configurations to influence desired business outcomes, dynamically. A variety of levers exist today to allow configuration changes, but most of them are not exposed to business; they either require engineering team because they are poorly exposed, or they are not automated.
Examples of network configuration changes which business want to change:
1. Change store capability/fulfillment eligibilities (ship/pick capabilities, along with expire/don’t expire orders)
2. Prioritize nodes in network to funnel more orders to those nodes
3. De-prioritize nodes in network to reduce orders flowing to those nodes
4. Change percentage of overall orders flowing to stores compared to other channels
5. Change promises for ship types based on dynamic conditions
