Key areas of responsibility:
RSC Program Coordination
Assist RSC Manager with developing a hybrid programming plan for the department
Assists with planning and executing of all socialization and skill-building programs for the Russian Senior Center
Create and distribute programs announcements (email, robocalls, printed)
Review and manage RSVP process (Google Forms or otherwise appropriate)
Send out robocalls and emails with Zoom link to all virtual RSVPs
Maintain record-keeping on programs and classes participation
Work with RSC Manager on developing and expanding RSC’s program volunteer opportunities
RSC Program Technical Support
Work with RSC Manager on identifying necessary technical needs of each program
Ability to or learn how to operate technical equipment (computer, video cameras, mics, TV, screen, streaming video/audio, and other)
Manage Zoom participation and other tech needs during virtual RSC and joint with Chevrah programs
RSC Admin Support
Coordinate social media plan for the department and work with RSC Manager and EZRA’s Communications and Volunteer Coordinator on implementation
Create and design publicity flyers, as well as social media posts as needed
Work with EZRA’s Communications and Volunteer Coordinator on updating RSC program listings on EZRA’s website
Contribute to JCC weekly Monday Newsletter
Other Duties
Participate in weekly Team meetings
Participate in weekly Staff Meetings (schedule permitting)
Other Duties as assigned
Essential Job Duties/Physical Requirements:
Mobility: Repetitive movement of arms and hands to operate computer, smartphone, keyboard and mouse.
Ability to operate equipment such as phone, computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, twist and/or walk on a frequent basis throughout an 8-hour day.
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals, both orally and in writing.
Mental Abilities: Must be able to operate equipment such as phone, computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment.
Vision Abilities: See detail in objects; distinguish between colors, shades and brightness and ability to focus.
Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
Repetitive movement of arms and hands to operate computer, keyboard and mouse.
Move from sitting (chair and floor) to standing position easily and quickly.

20 hr/week, Tuesdays 9:00am-3:30pm required

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or another related field. Desire and/or experience working with elderly is preferred. Understanding and/or knowledge of Jewish traditions is desired but not required.
Fluency/near fluency in Russian language is strongly preferred
Strong bi-lingual communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational skills
Excellent time-management skills
Experience with social media and software applications such as Canva is desired
Computer proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) or the ability to learn these and other systems as needed
Ability to work in a calm and collected manner
Ability to partner with volunteers and other community organizations
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and reporting
Sensitivity in working with low-income populations including seniors, people with mental illness, people with disabilities, people living with chronic illness, and people who are homeless.
