We’re recruiting Finance Controlling Analysts / Sr. Analysts for a new Regional Structure based in Kiev (Ukraine): PMI’s Integrated Business Support (IBS) Center for Eastern Europe and Central Asia countries and we’re waiting for you!
About the IBS Center
PMI is establishing the new IBS Center in Ukraine. The goal of this new IBS Center is to support PMI affiliates in Eastern Europe and Central Asia countries by developing an efficient, effective, capable and engaged organization with capabilities to collect, analyze and deliver information for fast, data-driven decision-making.
Your ‘day to day’
As a Finance Controlling Analyst in the new IBS Center, you have the analytical rigor and strategic thinking to drive our business forward. This is an exciting role that provides finance support to business partners as well as offering scope for leadership of individual analytical projects. You will work in close partnership with highly talented finance colleagues from across the region and consult on reporting and decision support for the wide range of activities.
You are an analyst who wants to make your mark on a successful and growing team, and who wants to further develop already strong business partnering skills. You are an excellent communicator who enjoys collaborating with people who possess a diverse set of talents. You are a strong time manager and are able to prioritize effectively while creating space for original thinking and thoughtful analysis to support our executives.
Responsibilities
• Monitor realization of the actual cost vs budget, prepare budget & forecasts calculations on defined accounts, provide standard, ad hoc and scenario-based analysis for costs, balance sheet & net working capital
• Prepare analysis supporting resource allocation and investments planning advisory aimed at cost optimization and Reduced Risk Product (RRP) growth
• Escalate material deviations and propose corrective actions to Manager Finance Controlling
• Support the markets / region during the budget cycles
• Support Manager Finance Controlling in controlling tasks, e.g. SOX
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economics
- 2 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting or Audit
- Confident MS Office user; Fluency in MS Excel is a must.
- English – Upper-Intermediate
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with SAP, Power BI, Anaplan, Tagetik
- Knowledge of IAS, US GAAP
- ACCA qualification is a plus
- Strong ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Impeccable business judgment, with the ability to motivate colleagues and collaborate effectively to help influence senior leadership.
- Excellent quantitative, written, and presentation skills; innovative, organized, thorough. Eagerness to further develop these skills.
- Customer satisfaction mindset: quality and timeliness of delivery.
