On behalf of LanguageWire, Ciklum is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis.

The Language Tools team develops and maintains the Smart Editor (https://www.languagewire.com/en/technology/smart-editor), our premium tool for linguists (translators, validators, proofreaders). Smart Editor makes translations easy for subject matter experts by centralizing and streamlining the entire process. Our team handles both the Frontend (written in Javascript and Typescript) and several backend micro-services as well (created using .NET 5 and running on Kubernetes clusters in Azure).
If you have experience developing .NET cloud-based backend micro-services, but are also familiar with frontend technologies such as Javascript or React, if you like on-the-job learning and problem solving, then join our multi-national company.

You and the team will ensure new products and features are brought to life using a cloud-native tech stack.
The team you’ll be a part of:
You will join our Language Tools Team, which is currently a group of 7 dedicated people, working on bringing our translators the best editor and tooling support in the business. We run by the “You built it, you run it” principle, which means that we own the products we build through all phases. The products we build are the most important tools for the translators that use them every day to run their business – what you do will make an immediate impact on their daily work!
Responsibilities
- Analyzing and improving existing backend services and systems and developing new features for them.
- Designing and creating new backend services in order to offer new functionality to our product.
- Writing unit and integration tests for the new features which will be developed.
- Analyzing the performance and current functionality of existing services, identifying problems and solving them.
- Participating in a team-wide prod rotation, where you’ll need to troubleshoot real-live production issues.
- Analyzing and improving the existing frontend solution and developing new features for it.
- Participating in the CICD process alongside the team.
In one year, you’ll know you were successful if…
- You have helped built and deploy new features for our Smart Editor product
- You have improved the quality and stability of the overall Smart Editor product

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with .NET
- 3+ years of experience with Javascript
- Good understanding of HTML/REST
- Medium SQL knowledge
- Experience with Kibana / Elk
- Basic Azure knowledge (or experience with similar cloud technologies)
- Software design principles
- Software debugging skills
- Good knowledge of Microservices
- Good analytical skills
