Strategic projects planning manager

Kyivstar, part of VEON Group, extends the Financial Planning and Analysis team with the position of Strategic Projects Planning manager.

 

FP&A is a passionate and dynamic team that provides management with the financial analysis, they need to consider business decisions

 

·         Active involvement in key Company projects as the representative of Finance team, delivering insights for decision making

·         Validating business cases for strategic initiatives introduction (M&A’s, new products/technologies, Strategic partnership’s), identifying key risks and issues of ongoing projects/activities, emphasize improvement points and give recommendations for top-management & process owners)

·         Preparation of different scenarios modelling, analytical information by request, materials on Board meetings, top-management Steering Committees

·         Managing of the budgeting and rolling forecasts, five-year business planning of key strategic projects (provides and ensures correctness of data)

·         Building an effective dialogue both external (with group HQ and Partners) and cross-functional cooperation in business decisions making processes

 

·         Strategic thinker with strong orientation on result, deep knowledge of market/industries trends, ability to analyze data to drive insights

·         Has strong modelling and financial analysis skills, is an advanced Excel user

·         Understands financial reporting and has excellent knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow

·         Has experience in Finance/Analytics (Telco, Big Four, Investment company), at least 3 years

·         Is able to review and analyze complex projections under tight deadlines, translate raw data into simple key messages

·         Has CFA, ACCA or is in the process of obtaining

·         Can easily communicate in a multicultural environment both verbally and in writing (English is a must)

·         Has a service mindset, treats internal clients with great care
