Primary purpose of the position:
Implementation of projects, programs and campaigns that promote recycling in general as well as recycling of used beverage cans (UBC) in Russia
Essential Responsible Areas:
Cooperation with institutions, the non-governmental sector and influential groups in order to position the projects of Ball related to the recycling and sustainability
Expansion of the existing network of sites involved in UBC recycling
Fundraising, fundraising through projects, available donor funds and and cooperation with bottling plants and other industry
Education and presentation of UBC recycling activities
Coordination and preparation of educational materials on UBC recycling
Media relations (press, TV, radio, interviews, organizing media events)
Close cooperation with marketing and PR agency in Russia in order to maximize effects in media of our recycling programs
Preparation of the can recycling projects, including project goals and objectives, scope, timeline, outcome and benefit indicators, budget and fundraising plan
Presentation of the can recycling project and awareness activities to the domestic and international public and professional gatherings
Regularly maintain relationships with clients, donors, and external partners
Maintenance of project files, correspondence related to the project and preparation of documentation required by the project founder
Region Specific Responsible Areas:
Continuously maintains and settles relationship with external business partners and internal interlinked functions to make sure that all matters are handled at a high professional level, in order to maintain the favorable image of the company.
Maintains the professional competence, ethical integrity, knowledge and skills necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.
Acts as a cultural role model in ways that demonstrate the Ball principles and values
Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department and the division and with the colleagues from other divisions within Ball Corporation.
Demonstrates competence in professional matters, business ethics and maintains strict confidentiality.
Knows the principles of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and applies them in work.
Communicates possible and existing problems to other department employees.
Initiates, reviews and follows all standard operating procedures (SOPs) for area of responsibility.
Follows all company’s internal Rules, Regulations, Procedures and Policies.

Job experience in of sustainability and/or recycling, environmental awareness projects as well.

Proficient in MS Office
Environmental or sustainability background preferred, not necessary
Ability to make decisions: Must be able to define problem analysing and evaluating complex information from a number of sources, must be able to arrive at conclusions. Must be able to use intuition, logical reasoning, and innovation to solve problems.
Communication skills to maintain internal and external contacts;
Ability to work both in a team and independently, must be flexible, customer-focused, decisive, accurate, independent, must have an analytical mind set, aimed at finding the best solution

Native Russian language
Advanced level of English language
