Our client is a leading global Financial Market data provider who runs several change programs to deliver high-quality software that connects Financial Markets across the globe in a real-time, high frequency, and low-latency data management chain. The Transformation, Execution & Agility group works to transform the way Engineering teams deliver, perform and interact with our customers and partners, enabling digitalisation of the delivery process. The mission is to support the strategy by ensuring alignment of priorities to common goals are realized through the Scaled Agile Engineering Methodology and Performance Management.
We are currently looking for a talented Test Manager to join our team. This role will align on delivery approach, tools and processes with other internal teams, sharing/ instilling good practices, whilst supporting technology solutions initiatives where relevant. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Director of Product Delivery
Responsibilities

We are looking for a hands-on Test Manager who is comfortable working with Senior Stakeholders and has proven experience of managing test activities from several teams, responding to technical questions and putting in strong quality assurance practices across SDLC. You will be primarily responsible for:
• Defining Test Strategy on Program level
• Setting quality related processes and best practices across all teams
• Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery
• Ensuring the appropriate planning and management of the test resources
• Defining standards in testing reports, quality gates
• Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the Testing Team
• Driving continuous improvement in terms of Quality and be a kind of a “gatekeeper” for various testing stages
• Be the driver for test automation adoption and CI/CD implementation
• Being the point of escalation for quality related issues.
Skills
Must have
-
• Technical background, ideally with 7+ years of professional QA, IT outsourcing industry, Consultancy Experience
• Expert understanding of Agile delivery frameworks, processes, practices tools and why they are important, SAFe experience is a plus
• Ability to work with and coach large cross-functional / distributed teams
• Working with multiple stakeholders and be able to report an appropriate level of details related to QA.
• Need to be adept at working with ambiguity and proactive to gain clarity.
• Need to be skilled in working with strong and challenging stakeholders under time pressure, ensuring that a high quality benchmark is achieved and delivered.
• Not afraid to say no if quality isn’t at the right level.
• Not afraid to suggest and implement new ways of working
