Job Purpose:
For our Agriculture Business Unit, we are looking for an enthusiastic Ukraine Agriculture Sales Manager who will be responsible to ensure that all commercial aspects in the area under his/her responsibility are properly managed and controlled, and that a commercial strategy is developed and implemented in accordance with the requirements of the business.
He/she will be responsible for the management of the sales and relationship with customers, prospects and channel partners within the defined territory & market.
Core Job Duties:
- Develop distribution strategy in area – develop Strategic Business & Marketing plan
- Support and develop the existing distributor and expand dealer network in line with the overall in-country strategy
- Business Development for After Market and OEM – for both Field and Farm products according to strategy -Develop Sales & distribution channels
- Develop annual sales plan and expense budgets that supports strategic plan – execute to deliver results and meet company’s targets
- responsible for the budget, revenue & margin
- Grow Sales to meet ambitious mid and long term targets to establish solid market leadership position
- Sets personal goals and delivers results
- Helps organize for and participates in trade shows and commercial events
- Prepares and manages sales forecast by product and account
- Assess risks involved with new initiatives, ensure deadlines are met and be ready to handle unexpected situations
- Develop and expand the commercial knowledge of the commercial team
- Provide assistance, support and guidance on all commercial issues within the area – Identify improvements to commercial procedures
- Develop TOPCON brand for entire product portfolio and works with Marketing to develop required materials
- Develops dedicated promotion plans for Area to support Sales Objectives
- Written and verbal reporting to Aftermarket Sales Leader on regular basis
- Develop/Expand business network in the industry.
- Updates management and relevant departments on competitive developments, market trends and required actions in/for Area
- Provides regular input to Product Management and supports development of regional product plan
- Interacts directly with Support, Marketing, Product Management and Sales Operations within TOPCON
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Agriculture Engineering or equivalent
- Experience within the Precision Farming / Agriculture Industry
- Familiarity with Agriculture products, business concepts, practices, procedures.
- Must have 5+ years of experience in business development, customer management, sales or related field.
- Familiar with multi-national environment
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
- Proven track record and experience similar position
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills in english
- English fluent and Ukrainian language mandatory – mother tongue preferred
- Strong commercial skills – door opener!
