Web Designer

We are looking for a talented and driven individual with proven UX/UI experience, to support Veeam’s ongoing evolution and optimization of our corporate websites and microsites. This role will work collaboratively with various team members and stakeholders in Marketing, Creative Services, Information Systems as well as external agencies.

Responsibilities

Leverage Veeam’s design systems and toolkits to create and refine templates, pages and page elements

Preparing project briefs and presenting design ideas to relevant stakeholders across various levels of the organization

Transforming wireframes into fully designed pages

Create and iterate on design options that are both visually impactful and meet/exceed agreed on KPIs

Create designs across multiple devices and browsers

Ensure consistency in designs across corporate websites and microsites

Utilize data and analytics in making design decisions

Create and maintain a database of design assets

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in related role

Strong portfolio demonstrating web design and UX/UI best practices

Degree/Certification in the design discipline (preferably digital)

Strong command of color theory, image composition, and typography

Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, Figma and other visual design tools

Proven experience in design skills across multiple devices, desktop, tablet, mobile, etc.

Solid understanding of website accessibility standards

Solid understanding of search engine optimization principles

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues

Strong understanding of usability and user-centered design practices

Good understanding of content management systems

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Russian a huge plus

Ability to clearly present design ideas and concepts

Excellent collaboration skills across globally dispersed teams

Familiarity with principles of Design Thinking, Agile philosophy and Scrum methodologies

Continual learner; staying updated on design/UI/UX best practices trends, techniques and technologies

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under deadlines

Comfortable with independent and remote working
