Boeing Ukraine is currently looking for Production Engineering Team Lead to join their team in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Engineering Team Lead will be responsible for Production Engineering commercial work statements for 737/747/777 and 787 programs.
Position Responsibilities:
- Working with Manufacturing Engineers, Industrial Engineers, Work Place Coaches and Shop Floor Personnel to identify proper requirements to develop Visual Installation Plans to provide burden free experience for mechanics during installation process, with further goal to improve manufacturing quality and performance
- Communication activities with IT and production engineering representatives to develop future state production systems requirements is necessary
- Operational support responsibilities include (but not limited to) team workload planning and distribution in accordance with projects priorities and schedule
- Time estimation and coordination of deadlines with the customer, as well as work technical requirements and quality criteria of deliverables
- Evaluating of work complexity with defining skills and authorities, required to complete assigned work
- Conducting training for new engineering personnel on the project
- Foresee and prevent potential conflicts and risks associated with package completion
- Execution of highly-complex pilot packages for certain commodities and groups with intent to provide clear instructions, share best practices used by mechanics
- Development of work instructions/tip sheets/checklists/etc.
- Monitoring assignments and supporting in solving technical issues
- Checking/reviewing completed work and providing job specific technical mentoring

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Fluent English – oral and written
- Fluent UkrainianRussian
- Higher Education degree is required
- 3+ years of relevant experience (Manufacturing Engineering and Team Leading)
- Experience in engineering drawings
- Knowledge of assembly and installation process
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Candidates must be able to plan and organize their time to work productively and efficiently while being able to adjust to multiple demands
- This position requires strong communication, teamwork, initiative, integrity and attention to details
- Experience with materials & manufacturing: metals and composite materials is a plus
- Systems thinking
- Analytical skills (technical)
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience).
